MISSING BOOKS OF THE BIBLE

Many a Christian will raise eyebrows when in a conversation you make references to certain books not found in the Bible, to the extent that some may even call you weirdo, lost, stray away, etc and give you a look as if you are an outcast. “Lack of knowledge…” However, when you make Bible reference (prove) to these ‘missing books’ from the very Book they have in their hands their beliefs are suddenly shaken and the scale falls off their very eyes to a different view.

Question is, ‘ is the Bible (what we have today) the Words of God?’, ABSOLUTELY yes. ‘Is the Bible ALL the spoken Words of God?’, IRREFUTABLY no’. I am convinced that Our Father, Creator of the Heavens and of the Earth must have spoken quite some over the thousands of years since He created us. Definitely, more than what we have in our hands now.

Is what we have now enough? Sure is if you see those who transcribed the fewer scripts as infallible, or that those other books mentioned which are not currently found in the Bible are not that important. But, ask yourself, which of the inspired Words of our Creator may be irrelevant?

We spend so much to buy “OTHER” Christian books/literature from bishops, pastors, etc who got their inspiration from the Word anyhow. So why don’t we delve into these ‘missing books’ and see what the Father had said. It might surprise you how the puzzles all fit together and how those ‘missing books’ clarifies some mysteries in the Bible we have now.

Reading through a couple of these gave me such enlightenment and a deeper understanding of who I serve, El the King, my Creator, awe in Power and Might, the Lord so Fierce, a Consuming Fire, His associates tremble with fear before Him. How can I not want to know more and more about Him.

As you read and come to the fullness of His glory and grace, may the Holy Spirit guide, teach and reveal the mysteries of the ALL MIGHTY to you in the name of Yeshuah, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Let us keep in mind beloved that, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”- 2 Tim 3:16
And in our haste to discard, discredit or debunk what is beyond our understanding (even though Bible has referenced these “missing book”) lets be careful not to trample the Words that our Father thought it right to give to us. Pray and pursue the wisdom that Christ wants us to so much have.

What do you have in your hands?

In the life of Moses, God placed him strategically in the house of pharaoh to learn the ways of the royals, leadership and favor with the king, all in preparations to free the Israelites. But Moses tried to use his own strength, temper and power to do that by physically engaging on the Israelites behalf. That backfired and he fled for his life. And God stepped in; allowed Moses to become a shepherd to learn guidance, meekness and humility (being a shepherd boy when I was a kid, I can confirm those are qualities you cannot do away with especially with goats). And Moses learnt a lot; in the mist of the bleating and noise, he learnt to ascend to the top of the mountain where he could find quiet and peace to hear the voice of the Almighty. (Ex. 3:10-22). Even when God had sent him to go, Moses still confused, doubted what he could do and God asked the ultimate question, “What is it that you have in your hands? (Ex.4:1-4) and Moses answered “a rod”. To Our Lord it represented the ‘rod’ of leadership, power and guidance. A rod Moses may have thought less of, a rod he had had all his time of shepherding and not thought much of. Jehovah Almighty keeps echoing to us till this time ‘What is it that you have in your hands?’ Is it our fluency, patience, compassion, soft-spoken character…? Even when God wanted to use Moses he still found excuses (…I am slow to speak… Ex. 4:10). But in our weaknesses He will strengthen. Whatever we have in our hands to offer, Our God will use.

Ours is to go, His is to worry.

Horses and chariots are prepared for war, but victory comes from the Lord… (Proverbs 21:31)

Its not by our own might nor by our power, but by His Spirit (Zechariah 4:6)

As you go through trials and challenging times, God’s strength and wisdom will be with you. Bible school will only informs you but the Holy Spirit leads you. Friends will forsake, and loved ones will abandon but Our Lord suffered worse.

All you need is trust in God and:

Do what is natural to you, and He (Almighty) will do the supernatural

Do the possible, and He will do the impossible

Do the ordinary, and He will do the extraordinary

Do the practical, and He will do the impractical

Do the probable, and He will do the improbable

Do the imaginable and He will do the unimaginable

Do what is surmountable, and He will do the insurmountable

Do the thinkable, and God will do the unthinkable

Do your part, and God will do His part.

May the peace of God, which passeth ALL understanding, keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus Our Lord (Philippians 4:7). Amen.
